Rottnest Tsunami Paddle for SurfAid

Tuesday, March 08, 2011

Hi my name is Murray Jacob,

In October the Mentawai Islands were hit by a devastating tsunami that left over 500 people dead, many injured and approx' 11,400 people homeless. SurfAid is a wonderful charity doing amazing work in these islands. In the last week of March, I will attempt to paddle a Sumatran dugout canoe (Sampan) to Rottnest island 20 kms off the coast of Perth Western Australia.

I believe SurfAid is undertaking some amazing work in Indonesia and I am proud to support an organization that delivers real results and solutions for the long term.

Please support this great cause and help me reach the target! DONATE HERE
